Proudly showcasing Edmonton's local design talent, our city will be hosting the EDM Spring Classic on Friday March 4, 2011 at The Treasury Vodka Bar. The crux of the event is to create an experience where the audience is able to intermingle with the designers and models. The typical fashion show is one that simply "happens" to the audience member. They sit and watch with no active participation. This event will be a veritable interaction with the designers and models, giving designers the opportunity to describe their designs and inspirations directly to audience members. Designers will be competing for $1000 in cash prizes and the audience will judge who goes home the winner.
