Calling All Emerging Designers!! Western Canada Fashion Week (WCFW) is passionate about supporting up and coming designers that they have created a contest to showcase their talent and creativity. Past winners of the contest have used the scholarships they have won to pursue further design education, to market and promote their clothing lines, or launch their own boutiques. The Emerging Designer Contest is unique to WCFW as no other Fashion Week devotes such enthusiastic energy to highlight the design talent in their community. Previous winners include Noman Ganna (September 2010) and Sid Neigum (September 2009).
